Model Selection

How to select appropriate granulators?

Firstly we should confirm if the max dimension of regrind materials is smaller than the diameter of feed-in port of cutting chamber. The machine is not available if it is larger. Granulators are also selected according to the thickness and hardness of materials besides acceptable dimensions, so as to reach desired throughput capacity and save energy. Lastly, screen mesh should be selected according to particle size of regrind materials and type of model.

We kindly ask you to advise if you have crusher for lumps: Thickness: 10cm; Length: 50-100 cm; Output capacity: 150kg/hour.

Our granulator cannot granulate coal or stone. But professional crusher can do it.

Could you please tell me if it is possible to change the feeding chamber of granulator from standard feeding chamber to straight? I mean SG 20 series only feeding chamber.

Of course, Shini can do it, please see the option 5 in category of SG-16/20.

The customer wants to put the large panel 35 x 200cm into the grinder without further sawing. The thickness is about 4 cm (40 mm) but this is reinforced with a grid structure (not solid), The wall thickness is about 1,5 mm.What grinder do you advise?

There is unsuitable model for this case because the plate is too large and reinforced by grid structure.

We kindly ask you to advise the suitable crusher for following application: A. PVC pipes: Max. Diameter 150mm; Thickness 1.5mm; B. HDPE pipes: Max. Diameter 500mm; Thickness 45mm.

A. PVC PIPES--- SG-2028+straight-in feeding hopper
B. HDPE pipes ---- SG-7090+side feeding hopper

Operational Doubts

Can SG reverse automatically if the material is blocked in it for bigger? And run normally? If not, how to solve it?

When the series of SG-14/24motor blockage occurs, the machine will alarm visibly and enable motor reverse running function. It works normally automatically after the trouble is clear. But other series will switch off if the motor blocks. Please don't drop too large material into small-type granulators.

Trouble Shooting

When turning SG-2427 on (with nothing inside), it runs for about 10 min and then trips the overload for the main motor.

Please check whether the value of Thermal overload relay was less than normal. Adjust it as 1.1 times as the rated current of the motor.

Are the rotating blades of SG-16 and SG-20 same?

The size of fixed blade for SG-16 is 68.5x24x5, while that of SG-20 is 69.5x25x8.

Other Issues

Do the granulators have a function which can clean the blades and sands mixed in the bottles by water?

There is not function of water spray in SG-50, but cutting chamber designs a cooling function.

What is the belt material of SV3? What is its maximum conveying capacity? How much is its motor power? Can it install a speed controller?

The belt material is PVC. The maximum capacity of SV3 is 70kg. Motor powder is 200W and its brand is JSCC, which is single-phase motor. The conveying speed of belt can be adjusted in 0~6m/min.
